Nine scenes from an Iranian young couple's life. They caught up in their daily routine. They are employees. They work every day from morning until night. They stuck in their routine lives. However, behind their apparent calm and repetitive existence, they decided to make no more physical motion except eye blinking and breathing.

Jurybegründung: Der Film ist eine ungewöhnliche Idee, die mit dem Gegensatz von Bild und Ton arbeitet. Das Private einer Ehe wird durch den Sprung auf die Leinwand öffentlich – aber nicht sichtbar und schafft damit einen Verweis auf das, was gezeigt werden darf und kann und was nicht.
Damit wird die Arbeit übers Private politisch und dem Zuschauer werden Erkenntnisse als auch Geheimnisse präsentiert, die die Vorstellungskraft herausfordern.
Shirin Mohammad was born in 1992 in Tehran, Iran. Currently, she lives and works in Tehran/Bremen/Berlin. She has a practice spanning various media, including video, sound, multimedia installation and short film. Through her work she scrutinizes the remains of lost, ignored, abandoned, and sometimes re-remembered archival materials which deal with the history of Iran; she draws attention to the way that history can be manipulated by adding a layer of documentary intervention to her overarching fictional conceit.
