Über Generationen bewohnte eine Familie ein geräumiges, wunderschönes, gastfreundliches Haus. Die Gastfreundschaft des Hauses war Teil ihres Lebens geworden. Gäste waren immer zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt eingeladen. Bis ein Gast eintraf, der etwas anderes im Sinn hatte.
